Holds and Reservations

Open Account > Holds to review both active reservations and their history. OPAC shows the reservation status, queue position when available, when the hold was placed, and the pickup expiry when a copy is ready.

Manage an active hold

Depending on library policy, an active hold may provide Pause, Resume, or Cancel. Wait for the action to finish and confirm the updated status before leaving the page.

A closed hold remains visible with its final reason, such as collected, cancelled by the member, cancelled by the library, or expired after the pickup period. If a ready hold has no pickup expiry yet, OPAC says that the deadline is pending instead of guessing a date.

Important

A hold is normally placed at title level. Any eligible copy can satisfy it according to the library's queue and collection rules. Contact the library if a status or cancellation reason needs clarification.
