About And Diagnostics

Open About > Software Information to review the installed or browser application version and product information. The Standalone app also provides diagnostic controls that can help reproduce a problem without exposing passwords or secret credentials.

The About dialog shows the public version, for example 26.0.1. It shows the operating-system family only once, followed by the available operating-system details. Diagnostic logging is off by default and starts only after you select the diagnostic control; the dialog remains scrollable and usable in narrow or short windows.

About Menu

Expand About to choose Software Information, Software Update, or License. The same grouping is available in Libcodesk WebApp and the Standalone app in Cloud setup and Local setup. Software Information and License are shown according to your access permissions. Software Update remains available so you can keep your application current.

License and Software Update have moved out of Settings. Existing Quick Menu shortcuts remain available; you can also add Software Information. On a narrow screen, open the navigation menu first, then expand About. Use Tab to focus a menu and Enter or Space to open it.

When To Use Diagnostics

  1. Open About > Software Information before reproducing a recurring problem.
  2. Enable diagnostic logging when the Standalone app provides that control.
  3. Repeat only the action that fails.
  4. Return to About > Software Information and use the available log or support action.
  5. Disable logging when the investigation is complete if your organization does not keep it enabled.

The Libcodesk WebApp records browser-side diagnostic events differently and may not offer a local log-folder action.

Safe Information To Share

Share the application version, time of the problem, active module, non-sensitive error text, and reproduction steps. Do not share passwords, verification codes, license keys, access tokens, payment-card details, or confidential member information.

Do And Don'ts

  • Do reproduce the smallest failing action.
  • Do tell support whether you use Cloud setup or Local setup.
  • Don't publish diagnostic files publicly.
  • Don't enable logging solely to monitor staff activity.

FAQ

Who should contact CodeAchi support?

Organization admins may contact CodeAchi for cloud access, license, billing, or product-support issues. Staff should first contact their organization admin.

License Name

Software Information shows License Name alongside the setup details. In the Standalone app it appears after License Mode; the Libcodesk WebApp also shows the organization's license name. If the name cannot be retrieved, the value is shown as unavailable rather than guessing a plan.
