Search and Advanced Search

Search always respects the active library selection in the OPAC header. Choose All libraries to search every accessible branch, or choose one library to narrow the results.

  1. Open Search from the bottom navigation.
  2. Enter a title, author, ISBN, accession number, barcode, RFID, subject, or other supported term.
  3. Press Enter or choose Search.
  4. Open a result to review copies, locations, availability, ratings, and permitted actions.

On a supported device, the Standalone OPAC app can also scan an ISBN or barcode. The scanner starts a search; it does not perform a circulation transaction.

Open Advanced search to combine the supported fields and filters. Use only filters that help answer the current search; too many filters may legitimately produce no matches. Choose Clear to reset the form without changing the selected library.

When Saved searches are enabled, save useful criteria and rerun them from More → Saved searches. Saved searches keep the query and filters but use current catalogue availability when rerun.

Troubleshoot results

  • Confirm the correct library is selected.
  • Remove restrictive advanced filters.
  • Check identifier characters and spacing.
  • Choose Retry after a connection failure; the query and library selection remain visible.
