Reading Room Dashboard

Open Reading Room > Dashboard to monitor the active library's reading spaces. It shows current occupancy, available capacity, today's reservations, active sessions, upcoming reservations, and the visual room layout.

Select a room, table, or seat in the layout to inspect its availability and current reservation or member information. Counts update after check-in, checkout, reservation, closure, or maintenance changes.

Troubleshooting

• Refresh if another desk has just completed an action.
• Confirm the active library when expected rooms are absent.
• Check Rooms and Tables / Seats when capacity is incorrect.

Do And Don'ts

• Do use the dashboard for current operations.
• Do use reports or reservation history for historical analysis.
• Don't edit capacity simply to close a position; use maintenance or operating status.

FAQ

Why does available capacity differ from total capacity?

Occupied, reserved, closed, and maintenance positions may reduce current availability.
