OPAC
Open Settings > OPAC to manage the member-facing catalogue. This page is available in Cloud setup to users who have permission to manage OPAC settings.
Configure the OPAC
- Open Settings > OPAC.
- Use Features to enable the member workflows your library offers.
- Use Home sections to choose the catalogue sections shown to members.
- Use Branding to set the application name, images, colours, welcome message, and public contact details.
- Choose Save settings.
The save action remains unavailable until a setting changes. If saving fails, the entered values stay on the page so you can correct the issue or try again.
Feature settings do not override Membership Plan restrictions. A workflow must be allowed both by the organization OPAC settings and by the member's applicable plan.
Do and don't
- Do use HTTPS image addresses for public branding assets.
- Do check the OPAC after changing features or branding.
- Do keep public contact details current.
- Don't enable a workflow that staff are not ready to support.
- Don't place private notes or internal system information in public branding fields.
Common issues
OPAC is not shown under Settings
Confirm that you are using Cloud setup and that your role can manage OPAC settings. Ask an organization administrator to review your role permissions.
Save settings is disabled
The button is enabled only after a value changes. Change a feature, section, or branding value first.
A feature still is not available to a member
Check the member's Membership Plan and account status. OPAC settings enable the organization-level workflow; member-specific restrictions still apply.
