Catalogue Details
Open any title from Home, Search, a shelf, or a reading list to reach Catalogue details.
Review the title
The page may show the cover, title, authors or other contributors, publisher, publication year, ISBN, description, subjects, average rating, number of ratings, and related titles. Missing metadata is identified calmly rather than replaced with invented information. Contributor and subject edits saved by library staff appear from the current catalog record; refresh or reopen the title if it was already on screen when the edit was made.
Check copies and locations
Copies appear in a compact table so large copy counts do not stretch the page. Each row identifies its library, physical location or digital format, accession number, and current status. The layout becomes vertical on narrow screens.
Understand actions
- Place hold creates a catalogue-level reservation when your Membership Plan and library rules permit it.
- Issued to you identifies a title already on your account; renew it from Current loans when renewal is allowed.
- Read now or Listen now appears for eligible digital access in Libcodesk WebApp and the Standalone app when the format and library policy support protected reading or listening. PDF and EPUB titles open in the built-in reader.
- Download appears only when the library separately permits downloading that digital title. In the Standalone app, choose the save location when prompted.
- If the library has disabled both online reading and downloading for a digital title, those actions remain hidden and a Digital access restricted notice explains that the member can contact library staff to request access.
- Share this title shares or copies the public catalogue link without exposing account data.
- Rate this title lets a signed-in member choose one to five stars after the title has been issued to them or accessed through the digital library. Your selected stars stay highlighted after saving, and the page updates the shared average and rating count.
Availability can change between opening the page and completing an action. OPAC always validates the current library and Membership Plan rules again.
